That was brilliant. You sounded much more natural during that last interview. Using the flapped 't' in common words like 'gotta' and 'better' is natural for lots of southern English speakers in fast speech and no one will bat an eye if you use the vowel in 'cat' for a word like 'ask' instead of the usual RP vowel as a very large number of British accents do that too. We're used to hearing mixed accents so don't worry too much about that. I think you need to use a less open schwa because that certainly contributes to your sounding German 😂 Your O in 'go' is sometimes very High-RP so it would be good to work on a more true English O in the diphthong instead of the textbook /eu/. The only other thing I'd say is the final T sounds. Less aspiration or even doing an unreleased T is better than saying it too clearly! Amazing effort though! I'd give it an 8/10 for sure but I'm northern so I have less experience with hearing the Modern RP accent 😁 Love the channel, Paul ❤ xxx

9:44 corrected 試験の勉強をしなくても大丈夫です。 It's ok if "you" don't study for the test. It's true that the sentence doesn't have a subject (you), but it feels strange for a native Japanese speaker to think that "I" make this statement. That's why Japanese is difficult.

It's fascinating: the easier the japanese phrase, the less chinese understand. The more complex the written words, the easier is for a chinese to understand the sentence. I read somewhere, the (younger) japanese folk hardly can read and write kanji.

Semetic Languages are written from right to left, including Farsi. Arabic and Farsi alphabets are 90% identical. There are many words that both languages share. To say Farsi has no relations to semetic language is not correct. Many Persians want to identify with the European race, which is not totally correct because in general depending what parts of Iran one is from determines ancestorical lineage. KHUZESTAN (Ancient Elam/Babylonia) is disputed lands between Arabs and Persians going back 1000's of years and one of the reasons for the Iran/Iraq war. In conclusion Farsi is 50% Semetic and 50% Indo European due to migrationing populations settling from neighboring countries.

14:33 That's a little complicated to write "their own country" as "jibuntachi", doesn't seem natural to me. Simpler to just say "自国" (jikoku). Unless it was intentional to make it hard, because I think the Chinese would sus out "self" and "country" quickly.

11:15 Actually, Russian does have a structure that functions as a pluperfect: "Я читал было эту книгу..." (or "Я было читал эту книгу...") You just use the imperfective verb in its past tense, but you also add this "было". In isolation, it would be the past singular neuter form of "быть" (to be), but in this case, it fuctions as a particle (since it's not conjugated at all) that indicates pluperfective aspect. Yes, this is pretty much the same as Ukrainian: "Я читав був цю книжку..." Russian: "Я читал было эту книгу..." In fact, Old Church Slavonic's plusquamperfect tense was like this! It also featured the verb meaning to be and the verb conveying lexical meaning; albeit "be" was conjugated (and, as far as I know, the second verb could also be in its aorist or perfect form). 15:05 In Russian, instead of "потому что" you can also use its synonym "ибо" (which I believe is a cognate with Ukrainian "бо", since both share a remarkable amount of similarity to Old Church Slavonic "бо" that meant "because"), although it'd feel either dated or pompous. Or both. This word isn't used in Modern Russian anymore, even in written language.

i dont find the "i can tell it's ai" argument reasonable. it doesn't have to sound like a "native speaker", it still makes communication possible in the first place. i know for a fact that people that have learned a language later in life tend to (TEND TO) use odd sounding phrasing, words, sentence structure, they sometimes use idioms that only make sense in their main language. i don't see how that's different from ai translations sounding a bit weird. just because machine translation is not perfect yet doesn't mean it's not extremely useful.

What's interested to me is that Proto-Indo-European is thought to have used a root system as well. However the reconstructors of that proto-language often write the vowel and it also often has a consonant cluster making it four consonants anyways. What's even more interesting however, is that because PIE only has two pure vowels and each only has a length variation that can be derived from grammar and the semi-vowels can be read as consonants or vowels but reveal which to use easily by context, and the laryngeals are essentially a forced consonant vowel cluster so they could just be represented with letters like how x is used in Latin and in many cases in other PIE descendants for a shortening of ks combos. In other words, I'm suspicious that PIE could be written with an abjad alphabet like almost all of the Afro-Asiatic languages like the Semitic family. Now I know there isn't enough information available currently with currently available methods of study to say whether thats features of a common ancestor language or a spachbünd (speech region) effect. But it's still interesting to see that.

Old Persian cuneiform is loosely inspired by the Sumero-Akkadian cuneiform; however, only one glyph is directly derived from it - l(a) (𐎾), from la (𒆷). (lᵃ did not occur in native Old Persian words, but was found in Akkadian borrowings.)
